Learn town planning

Because the Queensland statutory town planning scheme (getting planning permits) is essentially code based (i.e., for at least 85% of all applications) - the process for getting permits is actually pretty easy - especially for things like secondary dwellings, (granny flats), dual occupancies, small subdivisions, building extensions, and certain 'change of use', etc.

For a little investment in time and money - aup town planning can provide you with all the information and support you need to learn to do your own town planning and get approvals. It will be far less expensive than engaging us, and any other town planner, and probably quicker too, and you can 'complete' your understanding of property development.
